Tinjauan Terhadap Keterlibatan dan Efikasi Guru Besar dalam Pengurusan Kewangan Sekolah

Abstrak



Kajian ini dijalankan bertujuan untuk meninjau penglibatan guru besar dalam pengurusan kewangan sekolah dan juga melihat tahap efikasi pengurusan kewangan guru besar. Disamping itu, kajian juga ingin meninjau sama ada terdapatnya perbezaan penglibatan dan efikasi antara guru besar yang pernah berkursus kewangan kelolaan IAB dengan mereka yang belum lagi hadir. Seramai 67 orang guru besar daripada Zon Utara yang dipilih secara rawak terlibat dalam kajian ini. Instrumen Keterlibatan Guru Besar dalam Pengurusan Kewangan Sekolah (Sazali, 2006) dan Efikasi Pengurusan Kewangan Sekolah (Sazali, 2007) digunakan bagi mengukur keterlibatan dan efikasi guru besar dalam pengurusan kewangan sekolah. Statistik min dan sisihan piawai digunakan bagi mengukur keterlibatan dan efikasi guru besar dalam pengurusan kewangan sekolah. Manakala statistik anova sehala digunakan untuk menguji perbezaan min antara guru besar yang pernah hadir berkursus dan yang belum lagi hadir kursus dari aspek keterlibatan dan efikasi pengurusan kewangan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan 26.9 % guru besar melibatkan diri secara minimum dalam pengurusan kewangan sekolah, manakala selebihnya (73.1 %) melibatkan diri mereka sepenuhnya. Kajian juga mendapati 49.3 % guru besar mempunyai efikasi pengurusan kewangan pada tahap sederhana dan rendah, dan selebihnya (51.7 %) mempunyai tahap efikasi yang tinggi. Ujian Anova sehala mendapati tidak dapat perbezaan min yang signifikan antara guru besar yang pernah hadir kursus dengan guru besar yang belum hadir dari aspek penglibatan mereka dalam pengurusan kewangan sekolah (F = 2.589, p = .061). Namun kajian mendapati perbezaan min efikasi pengurusan kewangan yang signifikan antara guru besar yang pernah hadir kursus dengan mereka yang belum hadir kursus (F = 5.660, p = .002).
