Platanus School is a private school which implement dual-language program in all of its curriculum. The medium of instructions are German and English which run concurrently in every subjects. The irony of private schools in Germany is that the salary of teachers are paid by the government.

Almost all universities in Germany are research university whereby 'research-oriented learning' is a culture among the professors and the senior lecturers. Moreover the professors are not motivated by money or job promotion instead they are more interested in the work or research they are engaged in.
